A note from our founder
“I had never suffered with my skin before covid, then I was suffering from breakouts and dry cracked lips it made me embarrassed, I would constantly look at my bad skin and this made me feel so isolated. I'd cry a lot, I would say this period of my life was my lowest with everything in the world-changing - I felt lost.
I couldn’t find anything that would soothe my cracked bleeding lips, I didn’t want these small lip balms that get lost at the bottom of your handbag so I decided to deep-dive into researching ingredients before finalising our unique formula. From there we’ve expanded into simplified products that slot easily into your day, whatever your routine.

How It Started
Byellie started through the stress of covid resulting in me having acne then onto acne treatment tore down my lip barrier and I started to notice nothing at the time helped to sooth and help calm my red dry cracked, torn lips this made me feel even more self conscious, than when I had the acne so now I just didn’t want to leave the house I used makeup to cover my skin and lips.. after lots of research and being still restricted to going out I spent all my time looking at ingredients, looking for suppliers, after lots of failed samples and mistakes I finally came up with our lip balm and that’s how it started, I had a problem and I solved it so I shared it with all of you.
The Journey
Ellie then launched brow shape after not finding anything on the market that could hold up her stubborn brow hairs, after so many customers became fascinated with the results, it became viral.
Where we're at now
byellie has accumulated over 100,000 followers, 4.5 million likes plus millions of views across socials! The range has sold tens of thousands, with international demand from the UK and US.
